FAIRTRADE PLEDGE
The Group has produced a Pledge which can be displayed by any school committed to Fairtrade.

To qualify for the Pledge the School should:-

1. Appoint a person/steering group to be responsible for the fulfilment of the Fairtrade Pledge criteria.

2. Use only Fairtrade tea and coffee at school functions.

3. Encourage the use of Fairtrade products in the Staff Room.

4. Hold occasional Fairtrade stalls either in school or at social functions eg Christmas Fair.

5. Provide opportunities for pupils to learn about Fairtrade eg through Assemblies and relevant curricular areas.

Presentation of the Pledge
A member of the Group would be very pleased to present the Pledge at an Assembly.

We would also be very pleased to help schools in working towards achieving the pledge.
